Restore Windows Photo Viewer on Server 2016 VDI

            This article will help you to restore the Windows Photo Viewer on Server 2016 desktops hosted by TetherView.

            • Download the file from this link:
            • Extract the downloaded file

            • Go to the extracted folder and open the file by double clicking on it
              (You might require Administrator credentials to open the file. Contact your Local Administrator/ TetherView Support for additional help)
            • Click on Run on the prompt

            • Click YES on the User Account Control menu

            • Click Yes on the Registry Editor prompt

            • Click OK on the following step
            • After completing the above steps, the Photo Viewer is now enabled on the VDI. To set this as your default Photo Viewer, go to start and search for ‘Default Programs’ and open the program

            • Navigate to Photo Viewer and Click on Paint to View the drop-down options. From the Drop-down menu, Select Windows Photo Viewer

            • Windows Photo Viewer is now the default Photo Viewer
